So, What is it that you wanted to do in 2009 but didn't do????

That is my question that I am asking myself as I sit here with it being 8:37pm almost time for 2010 to be here and I am not ready. But I don't think that I can stop the clock from ticking to where it doesn't happen yet.
A couple things that I wish I would of done would be.......
1. Visit my family
2. Tell those close to me just how much they really mean to me
3. Focus on the bigger things in life rather then the things that didn't really matter

So when it comes to 2010 I have to realize that my babies are growing up fast and I need to live every day to the fullest. A person can not make up for the day before nor live for the future they need to live in the moment that is what matters right now. A person never knows what is going to happen tomorrow or the next week. So it is important to tell those you love how much they matter.
I am going to walk away from 2009 with some great memories and some lessons learned. I have taken plenty of pictures to remember the good times.
So thank you to all those who helped make 2009 a wonderful teaching year and full of great memories that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

New Addition to the Adamson family

On Friday December 18,2009 My Brother and his welcomed a new baby girl into the family. Her name is Taylor Leigh Adamson she was 7lbs 15oz and 20 inches long. We have been waiting for her to arrive with the past few months being touch and go on whether she was going to show up early. But everyone is really glad that she is here.
It is hard when things like this happen such as births, weddings, and any other big event happen in the family and you can't be there because you live so far away. But we are all old enough and understand that is it hard on everyone. So we make the best of it and share pictures of our babies with each other. So speaking of pictures I have a few to share.

Our first flight will be through the month of August (part 1)

Well this month started out pretty good. I was anticipating my 28th birthday and all the surprises that I would hope to come with it. Well at the beginning of the month I found out that our great neighbor Kathy was moving back to Minnesota, to live with her brother. So that was a hard thing to deal with. But we still wanted to celebrate my birthday with the usual birthday dinner. Well my birthday came and it was a rough day, to say the least. I was hoping for many things to happen that day and they didn't. It was also another reminder that my dad was not here to say Happy Birthday to me or my sister. So back to dinner, Kathy decided that she wanted to take me to the Melting Pot with the kids. So here are some pictures from that. As you can see from the pictures we had a lot of fun.

Of course part of saying good bye to our neighbor and friend we went to church so they could wish her well on her travels. Here are some pictures of that.

*It is so hard to watch someone who has held you together and been there to push you along in your daily life to move away. You lose this part of you that you didn't really know you had until that person is gone. I realized how much she actually did for us while she was not only our Neighbor but Friend and even a part of our Family. This is a person that is not replaceable in anyway.

After Kathy moved away to Minnesota it was rough at first getting into a new routine. But with Adrianna starting school it was just one thing after another to deal with. Here is a picture of Adrianna on her first day of 4th grade.
